Kick-starting my blogroll with Apple’s blog!

with 3 comments

As I had written earlier, I am just sort of starting out with my blog, and most of the things are in the process of being set-up. One of the most important and — for me — interesting aspect of a blog is the Blogroll section. Over there, you will find links to the blogs by other people, that has enthralled and captured the attention of the author of the current blog. These are the blogs that are well-worth the author’s time, and perhaps the reader’s time too. It also kinda tells you something about the kind of person this author is.

I am starting my blogroll with a link to my good friend Apple’s blog, “Something Bizarre“. He is a sensible, well read, and talented person with strong — and I must say, mostly correct — opinions on many things. I am linking to his blog without taking his explicit permission, though I hope he wouldn’t mind the publicity ;-).

I really like this entry here, that portrays the thought process of the average Software Engineer, on the days and months before his engagement. At least I had undergone some of these things over the last few months. Every one does, I suppose. Nice work, Apple!

A request to him though: Please start updating your blog. Btw, do update your profile too; it is too old  ;-).

  2. I didn’t fully understand what you are referring to. But if you were referring to the pix in Apple’s blog, then I think you are reading too much into it. Or are you? ;-)

  3. […] I had kick-started my blogroll with a link to Apple’s blog, and  it looks like he has decided to resume blogging. He is also trying out WordPress these days. Here is wishing him good luck for his second innings, which I hope would go on and on and on and on. […]
